Writer & editor

crafting compelling & persuasive content for distinct audiences

Tweaking, improvising, organizing, manipulating ... I'm lucky to say that I've gotten to play with written language as a profession for more than 15 years.

I've honed my professional skills at non-profit social service agency, two Internet consultancies for Fortune 500 clients, an academic publishing company, a Nickelodeon parenting site, and freelance projects with Disney. Authoring and publishing freelance articles related to historic architecture & design lets me "write for fun" and share my passion for historic preservation.

Thematic specialties and interests include

Historic architecture & preservation
20th century design movements
DIY craft movement
Travel
Parenting topics
